Your challenge for today, if you choose to accept it, is to consider what I’ll call magical moments of intimacy you’ve experienced.

All New

A large sun sinks behind trees full grown
The soft chirp of twilight birds sound
Bats whiz by circling, clicking, preying
No cars, no noise, just easy breathing
New home, new place, new beginning
Together even though alone
The soft chink of ice cubes in a glass
the faintest sound of glasses coming together
The throaty sound of a swallow
followed by a kiss to seal the future
and keep it as peaceful as it is right now

    • Well, it may be a moment that has to be intentionally created! My late husband and I had gone through a rough patch many years ago and the counselor had us each plan a date night. Every aspect had to be planned practically to the minute but you couldn’t tell the other what you were planning. I planned a sunset cruise and dinner while Bob planned dinner and an overnight at a really nice inn. It was fun!
