Baseball Season
Spring training’s started, its time to play ball
so come to the field, come one and come all
The pitcher is ready the catcher is squat
We’ll see if the fly ball is gonna be caught
The hotdogs are cooking and the beers’ serving cold
A game just like this can never get old
The batter is up, poised and ready to hit
The rest of his team’s cheering down in the pit
Take in the sun and the fun of the game
Pitching a fast ball will give one player fame

Spring Training will be starting in a few weeks. Players from Pittsburgh arrive here in Florida where the play for Spring training. It is really an exciting time, mostly I think because everyone else is so excited to be here and all that. Before working for the Pirates I had no idea about baseball really. I had been to maybe one major league game in my life.
