2. What is a wombat? a bat designed for female baseball players’ smaller hands
3. What is a jerry can? A portable potty
4. What is a beaker? a successful field goal kick in US football
5. What is a photofit? The temper tantrum of a toddler when put on Santa’s lap
6. What is meant by pluck? Short for pluck off which is short for please fuck off
7. What is a cat nap? Feline diapers
8. Where will you find a winder? on a clock
9. What is a crosshair? a mad rabbit
10. What is an effigy? It is what you tell your waiter when he asks you what kind of pudding you want for dessert.

haha These fibs are so funny! I especially like # 7 & 8! I see we did some thinking along the same lines on some of them. Yay! 🙂

I hope I didn’t offend anyone with my answer to #1. I was watching some program and the guy talking, who was from the UK, was making fun of how American English is completely “made up” to suit what we want and things are overexplained. For example, he was saying “Eyeglasses” . Where else would you wear them. Doesn’t sound funny in my explanation but the guy had me laughing.
