Yesterday was a hard day for me… my son’s heavenly birthday but I want him here, not there. It was a sad day but then I got some news…
One of my former students had her baby girl, Ivy Rose, yesterday. It was so special and now I will have a reason to smile despite my grief.

On another note, one of the days I went to see my dad, two residents called me over and asked if I could make them a miniature with a Christmas theme. I brought it in last week and was so happy to see how much everyone loved it, including the staff I am so appreciative of!

I am sorry to hear of your son May the lord be his strength and happiness

Gorgeous photo! Happy heavenly birthday to your son, he might not be here in person but he’s with you in spirit.
Your miniatures, as always are amazing, you should be so proud.

Thank you. Now that I am doing so many custom orders I am having fun thinking of ways to add to each for the details.

Hugs Christine! I can’t imagine the hurt. Lovely that a former student has found joy and through her you’ve gained a bit for yourself. The miniature is wonderful and so detailed!! Wow! No wonder that the residents and staff are enamored!

I especially love when someone finds a detail that I have sort of hidden!
