So do you feel that there is something missing in your life? Or are you completely satisfied with how your life has turned out?
I have to say that I am satisfied mostly. After losing my husband and son I have a hard time feeling like life is complete but I do have David and my daughter and they are my life and I appreciate them and am so grateful I have them. I also mourn the loss of my profession. I may go back someday but as the times change and the years pass my experience moves farther and farther from current trends and lessons. That being said I do love my new job working for the Pittsburgh Pirates. I love baseball now and it is a great company to work for. They might now be a World Series team but it is fun.
Overall, if I had to say if I am satisfied I’d say yes…Completely satisfied, no I would do a lot of things differently, but “could’ve, would’ve, should’ve”. I’ve learned that you can’t live with regret, that will destroy you. I do feel lucky for all that I do have.

Christine I love that you have found satisfaction with things as they are. Far too many people waste their lives wanting what was or yearning for what could be instead of appreciating what is right now!! ❤ ❤ ❤

I mentally have a lot of regrets but the thing is that nothing can change what happened in the past so why have it affect your present life? I think everyone has a “I wish I had just…” I have learned that living with regret is horribly painful.

True it is what makes the difference between a victim of circumstances and a survivor!
