Writing a Roundabout

Poetry with such a form
Makes rhyming seem more fun
It captivates and
it motivates and
Makes rhyming seem more fun

Thinking of a theme to use
Much harder than you know
My mind is blank
My poem tanks
Much harder than you know

And then it comes all in a rush
The words and rhymes and such
Thoughts do run
Block comes undone
The words and rhymes and such

And just like that the words are there
and looks like something real
I think I’m through
My poem’s new
And looks like something real

  1. I haven’t been back here in a while, which is my bad. So today I took the time and read a few blogs and also read your “about me” page. You are a shining example of why people should take more time to explore someone else’s blog. You learn so much — and you learn you are not alone in so many experiences.

I love today’s blog and will repost it tomorrow. I promise not to take so long between visits again.
