Waiting for Love
Beyond the glass and fake facade
I lay in wait for my demise
I may be lame and even odd
But I am more than slightly wise
I have no clue if she will come
‘Cause if she won’t then I will die
Sitting here I’m feeling dumb
But if I see her how I’ll fly
Why does love seem oh so hard
when I can see it every day
I want a bit, at least a shard
a bit of love is all I pray

A story many have lived I feel. You really captured the feeling of waiting alone, never knowing if your date will come. Well done.
