As I watch the water lapping the shore I think of all the moments that come and go where good memories mix with sad and the unpleasant get washed away to depths we never have to see again, but with this rhythmic pounding there is also the wetness of tears, those yet shed, and those that are as deep and as dark as the spring sea

and what’s yet to come
