Last Night

Last night you asked me to tuck you in
Last night you asked me for a hug
Last night you asked me for a kiss
Last night you asked me how much I loved you
Last night you asked me if I would love you forever

Last night I tucked you in secure
Last night I hugged you and held on so tight
Last night I kissed your cheek so softly
Last night I told you I loved you more than anything in the world
Last night I told you I would love you forever and ever

I will cherish every last night I have with you
