This Welsh poetic form is typically a six-line syllabic stanza with an ab rhyme scheme:

Home

I’d rather be home than a shop
My desire to be home won’t stop
I find things to do
Like cleaning the loo
Whatever is due
At the end, on my bed, I flop

  1. Nice one! I thought the syllable count was 8/8/5/5/3/3 in addition to the rhyme scheme… That’s why I shied away form this Welsh form… unless I’m feeling like a challenge….
