To infinite potential and a high tolerance
For people who’re too big for britches or pants

A snippet of wisdom can be sold or for rent
Before optimism and wholeness are ruined or spent
With a velvety touch and some inspiration still hid
I exclaim to the world all the things that I did

Positive social interaction can surely be found
With your best friend as witness, your feet on the ground
You cannot deny what you’ve already won
Just as ground can’t defy the heat from the sun.
