Imagine yourself giving this as a speech and reading it aloud for yourself.

When you look in the eyes of the innocent
Innocence in instinct
The fear evoked purely by the need to survive
Do you see vengeance or blame?
The wild and the tame
have been put on this earth to live
alongside humans
to serve when necessary
to protect
to provide
but when manmade cruelty
stares them right in the eye
not caring about the life they lead
the ecosystem they support
the food chain they equalize
for no reason other than game.
Trophies are not excuses
Look into their eyes
see fear, see fierce instincts
But you will never see
revenge
vengefulness
hate
in the eyes of the animal.
