No One is Deserving
Melting ice caps reveal new land
melting snow flows down rivers
heat from the sun dries up the rivers
dry rivers lead to dry lakes
Poisonous gases released in the air
inventions and innovations revealed
Lessons learned too late
An atmosphere less protective
Waste filling the land with rot
plastic floating above our fish
Disease leaching into our oceans
Some things will never be reused
When will it become clear
We need to stop the damage now
We can turn back some time
We all have to care

The air quality here from the Canadian forest fires is horrible. Son#2 has asthma and the inhaler is in constant use… We do need to take care of this planet. I just wish everyone could see it!

The fireworks, reduce are carbon foot prints, simply care to do better.
