The Secret Garden was a good book. Hard to pick a favorite, but would probably say Frog and Toad Adventures and LIttle Bear when I was really young , and of course Winnie the Pooh!!

I never read Frog and Toad until I taught my little kiddos. Always a great story!

I had a giant Mother Goose book and I remember turning the pages and looking at how the pictures fit the words so well. I just had to double check but I remember the picture of the woman who lived in a shoe and all the kids running around, but I always loved how the house was shaped like a shoe!
