So important!!!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.Whilst I wait for the clinic to advise me of an appointment for my first mammogram since my mastectomy last year, I cannot emphasise enough the importance of getting any irregularities or abnormalities in the breast checked out.
Mammograms are uncomfortable, but not painful as a rule, and Breast Cancer is not a death sentence.
So you survived breast cancer? Wow, well done, and I hope you remain healthy and happy. I agree on the importance of preventive health care. Treatments are only one part of medicine. If we actually take care of our bodies and are on the lookout for problems, then we can save a lot of serious headaches in the long run!

Actually Di at pensitivity101 is the survivor. Luckily so far I have not had that issue.
