So what about you- do you take pride in your brand of coffee, or the restaurant that you patronize, or have special feelings regarding your lineage or culture?
There are certain brands I have come to favor but not necessarily for their name, just because I like them. One ridiculous thing I can think of is pens, yes pens! I like Bic crystal blue pens, the one with the clear “handle” and blue ink. I like the way they write and I guess they are aesthetically pleasing to my hand.
When it comes to brand of food, most times I have no preference, except for my tomatoes. I love Campari tomatoes and usually only buy those.
So, no, I don’t think I am any sort of brand snob.

Only chocolate… I have expensive tastes!

I always tell people about when my kids were little, my mother in law got so mad at me when on one easter I told her not to buy cheap chocolate because it was like wax and the kids wouldn’t eat it. I told her to get a good brand! I don’t remember what the kids got but I got the cold shoulder for a bit!

The cheap stuff is a waste of money!

It really is! It doesn’t taste like chocolate so its not even appetizing.

I stopped being brand loyal years ago as the quality of ‘the best’ was substandard to everything else!

and a lot of the no-name brands are really made by the brands just at maybe a lesser quality scale

We find that too. Even the wrapping is similar!

Exactly the same without the brand name

Thanks for sharing Christine. Yes good quality food is essential buying and not a brand snobbery.
