She’d been watching her old neighbor’s house for weeks and weeks and more but she saw something impossible that made her lock her door. Her desire to unlock it was an option she disposed the brutal looking man outside made her quietly avulse Approximately two days more and she was overcharged Reacting like a live wire was feeling very large She couldn’t share her upset she knew they’d find her daft She looked and sounded crazy especially when she laughed. She pulled out her old pistol and aimed it at the door. Thats where they found her body a bunch of bones now on the floor.
Any idea what this is? Nope, but I hear they communicate far distances with it.
Do you think he’d miss it? Not really, he’s intent on taking a picture of his girlfriend.
OK then, give me pointers. You’re the one with the light fingers. Yeah, but I’m in the wrong place, so you’ll have to do it.
Is it better to pinch or grab? If you don’t want him to notice, lightly pinch and gently pull but if you feel the slightest resistance, desist and retreat.
OK……….. I’m going for it…………………
This picture shows a man taking a photograph of something (off the screen). Someone had drawn street art to depict a king and a jester coming up out of a hole. The king’s hand looks like it is about to steal something from the man’s back pocket.

Set up a timer or sit near a clock so you can keep track of the six minutes you will be writing.
You can either use one of the prompts (photo or written) or you can free-write.
Get ready and write for 6 minutes, that is it! Can you write a complete story? Can you think of a new Sonnet? Can you write 400 words? 400? 500? There are no restrictions on what kind of writing you do, but you should try to be actively writing for six minutes.
After you are done writing, include your word count and then post back to this page #Simply6Minutes or include your link in the comments section. Pingbacks are enabled.
*Feel free to leave your work completely unedited. I believe it is good to see, especially for new writers, that even very seasoned writers don’t write a perfect first draft.*
Have fun, challenge yourself if you’d like, read and respond to others’ posts.
Melanie is the host of Share Your World; your chance to blab on and on about what you think…Lol!
What mythical creature would improve the world most if it existed? (If you don’t know, just choose something that you think would improve things ) A giant flying praying mantis type thing that would eat all the bad bugs and help clean the world.
Should the death penalty be re-instated? Why or why not? I think there are cases that it should. It costs tax payers so much money to provide for those inmates and if they are truly guilty then why should we have to pay to support them. My brother was in a high security prison years ago for armed robbery. He lived like a king…well one behind bars. He used to say that it wasn’t that bad. I know that is not the case everywhere and for everyone but think about it; three meals a day, a bed, heat, water….better than some people’s living situations. The problem is that there are those inmates that have been wrongly convicted. But there are some individuals like school shooters and those that are blatantly guilty.
Spontaneity Or Stability? Stability.
Can a dog/cat suffer? What about an ant? What about a plant? What about a bacteria cell? Why do some humans think we’re the only species that does suffer? Your thoughts? I think that everything can suffer but it depends on the capacity of its brain. You can see a dog and cat in pain. If an ant is in pain it doesn’t last long enough to show. Plants don’t have a brain like we do. I think anything that lives long enough to feel the pain, suffers.
What are two things that have brightened your day today? 1. Waking up knowing my daughter is in a loving, safe environment for the first time in two years. 2. Seeing my dog look up at me with so much love.
Jim is the host of Song Lyric Sunday. Join in to hear music that could be new to you!
the theme this week is to feature a song by a group or an artist that surprisingly never reached #1 on the charts.
My song pick: Michael Jackson’s Thriller. I was about 11 years old when this came out, on my birthday by the way! We knew all the words and all the dances….Oh, the memories
1. Michael Jackson: “Thriller” (Peak Position: 4)
It’s hard to believe that the iconic song did not reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Released on November 2, 1983, Michael Jackson’s groundbreaking single heavily impacted airwaves across America. The accompanying music video came in at a whopping 14 minutes, and starred Jackson and actress Ola Ray as a young couple being hunted by zombies. Though the song peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, the single became certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on December 4, 1989, and as of November 2016, the song has sold 4.024 million copies in the U.S. Fun Fact: The famous music video was given a budget of $500,000.

The foulest stench is in the air The funk of forty thousand years And grizzly ghouls from every tomb Are closing in to seal your doom And though you fight to stay alive Your body starts to shiver For no mere mortal can resist The evil of the thriller
The quagga went a walking on plains that burnished brown Quarrelsome and quirky loving nothing that he found In the quarters for the animals he stays to take a rest He queries an old zebra who really looks the best. But this got old much too fast So on his way he went He hoped that when he found his love She’d scream he was a gent!
How are you changing the world? How are you making the world a better place?
There is so much sadness in the world, so many bad things happening to good people. At times it seems like humanity is out of control. I think we all need to have a common ground to stand on and show that no matter who you are, where you come from, where you plan on going, it doesn’t have to be thrown at people nor kept from people. We all just need to let people be who they are and who they want to be. This is what I try to instill in people I know and meet, the little way I might be changing the world.
Our lives are filled with radiant heat we pass around We line up stones to make our soup, no taste is ever found. Its like a single snapshot of idols in our world With timeless, kitschybundles of memories left unfurled A lonely individual who finds a ghost to haunt the wet kiss from your grandma or possibly your aunt You try to be reflective of things you may have missed Immersed in all your drama, two lips that are unkissed We hold on to our memories, those ones we left behind To keep up on our future, underwhelming we may find But a candle keeps on flickering, it burns alone you see Smoke meandering in the air, its billowy and free Keep on with your focus, don’t lose your faith in you For someday we all get our gold, whatever we are due.
Marcy was a woman who had much strength and skill To make her life worth living, to do just as she will Back in the beginning before the flashback came She used the bag of money to gas the pseudo flame The slit in her tight timeline prevented many things The purlieu of her homestead developed yellow rings Although a nifty idea she didn’t want to see How playing a card like the red ace was how her life should be. And so she put the cards back and looked up toward the sky The future she was holding was her pressing reason why.
