Not now Michael, we have to go. It is almost four o’clock and I have to make dinner.
But mom…
Michael, please. Just get in the car. Your sister is already strapped in, I am just waiting for you.
Mom!
Michael, I am not arguing with you right now. Just get in the car! Why does there always have to be an argument when we leave the park. You know, next time I will just bring your sister and get Aunt Martha to come stay with you.
It wouldn’t be much longer. I could see the golden sun coming up over my Oasis. I would have trees to shelter me as the sun rises into the sky; I will keep my mind focused on its position, so I know where I am heading.
I wonder if the world at the end of this road will be as bright as it appears now. I need the bright light. I need hope. I need to know what my future holds.
I will keep my faith alive and know with all my heart that my Oasis lies ahead of me.

Peter? Peter? Where did you go? I thought you said this game was for me to hide and then you find me, but if I’m here, in some tube with the openings covered, how is that any fun?
I don’t know why you won’t answer me!
Peter? Come on, are you there? I can’t even get out of here on my own! You took the stool.
Whose idea was it anyway that I hide in some tube?
Whose idea was it to cover the openings?
Peter, if you are out there, this is a warning, we are no longer friends.
