Great news! My North Carolina teaching certificates are official!! I start my new job, elementary school special education, this coming Monday!

I spent the last few days with family including my daughter and my beautiful grandson, Julian. He is such a sweet baby! I am so blessed. I am so thankful for the family members who have just shown me so much love and support!

For any people who go to antique shops, flea markets, or tag sales…I am looking for glass bottles from a company that was in New Haven Connecticut a long time ago – Blakeslee brewing or bottling company. If you happen to come across any of their bottles please let me know. If they are not too expensive, as some old glass bottles can be, I will reimburse and pay for shipping if any are found! Thank you!

I hope to be able to start reading all of my fellow bloggers posts soon! It’s been so hectic moving, getting prepared for a new job and welcoming the new baby!

  5. Congratulations, Christine and I hope you enjoy North Carolina. It takes a dedicated person to work with special children, and I had some of those classes when I worked as a substitute teacher. I know you will have some very rewarding days, and I hope you won’t get discouraged on the days when your students are more troublesome.
