My son had pet rats. It took me a while to be okay with the idea and then a little more time to be able to touch them without revulsion but I will tell you, rats are the smartest, cleanest pets if you want that type of pet. I fell in love with the rats. He had named them Ratsby and Ratsheim. The picture above is Ratsheim.

Hi Christine what a great song I loved it… Plus the story about your son made me smile so much… I know Rats are excellent pets! We had a girl who lived around the corner from us when the boys were small she kept Rats .. she used to take them out in her pocket!!!
