From my desk: 11/24/2025: Calling all Challenge-hosted bloggers

So I recently found out that Cee, from Cee Neuner’s One Day Photo Challenge, had passed away. I am so sorry to all of her friends, family, and blogging followers to hear this news. In conversing with other bloggers I was reminded that years ago, when I first started blogging, Cee had a good list of all of the challenges, where to find them, what days, etc. I would like to try and make a new update 2025-2026 list.

Here is what I need….

  1. Your name (however bloggers know you) – a link to your blog – the name of your challenge – what day/days your challenge starts. I think people will have to go to the blog to participate and find out how long, or if it ends at all.
  2. Let me know what your blog is challenging other bloggers to do. For example, write prose or poetry, take photos or post photos, find music to post, etc. It doesn’t have to be real detailed, bloggers can find out when they go to your site.

I think by doing this I am not only honoring Cee’s memory but also allowing other bloggers to be put out in the blogging world a little more and/or easier. With so many new bloggers it is too hard to keep track except for the challenges I have “always” participated in.

    I have a What do you see challenge- I present a couple of photos from which the bloggers can write what they see about one or both of them.
    On Sunday, I ask a question from my blogging community- Sunday poser, where they can either answer in the comments or write a separate post about it.
    On alternate Wednesday, there is Wednesday Quotes, where the blogger can use one quote and write something about the given topic.

  6. I run three different challenges, Christine and I think it is wonderful for you to be taking over for Cee.

    Thursday Inspiration where I write about a song and offer a prompt word and a photo prompt for people to join in.

    Friday Faithfuls where I am a host on the Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie site and these topics that I discuss are varied encompassing almost anything you can think of.

    My only popular challenge is Song Lyric Sunday is music themed.
