bound slip swells fan luring fence cracks bone tower frosted trap grasps

A Bad Knee

With leaps and bounds and slips and falls
My knee grows big, oh how it swells
No cracks are there, the bone is hard
the pain continues, nerves are charred
A bottle there of pain pills sit
luring my hands to grasp for it
Like a fence ’round a tower, the pain gets blocked
I worry that my liver’s socked.
But bloodwork says that I am fine
I’ll take this peace and call it mine.
