shade of a tree (konoshita yami, all summer)
Under Shaded Tree
Each year that passes marks another year without two men I loved and miss dearly, both beneath the shade of a tree, high on a hill, protected by a stone wall which holds feelings of so many years.
I visit you now
Hoping to hear your whisper
Wishing you were here
Knowing life will never be
The same sort of beautiful.

Our family has had two recent losses… I have lost so many. My wish for them is to be at peace and not to worry for me. I have photos on my wall… and many good memories.
(((Hugs))) to you. May your loved ones memories be for blessings.

Sending hugs your way as well! It seems we get to an age that the inevitable comes sooner and sooner.

Thank you. It is a bittersweet trip and I cry through some of the states I drive through but it is all worth it and the memories are wonderful.

Oh my… how wonderful (for them) to have lived long enough to know the kind of love you are capable of bestowing on your beloveds. Because you have a beautiful heart and have a right to seek joy, choose joy. And I’m sure they reciprocated likewise. I hope you can still feel their presence blowing in the winds of the seasons at every turn. Beecause you are loved immensely.
This is a beautiful post. May you find strength in having known love this beeautiful, dear Christine. I bless you. Thanks for joining.
