Brian, look over there, do you see that horse?

Yeah, I see him. Why what’s up?

Oh, you can tell from here that he thinks he’s the best on the farm. Look how he saunters around the yard. Did you see that, Brian? Did you?

What? Did I see what?

He just fluffed his mane and swished his tail right when Farmer Joe was walking out toward the yard. He is so full of himself! I bet Farmer Joe is going to give him an apple for that one. What do we get? Silage? Hay? I want some fresh fruit.

You eat fresh fruit?

Well, no I don’t, but it looks like it would be tasty.

Listen Fern, just be happy with our field and how free we are all day. Bucko may get fruit but he can’t go out without a leash. He can’t even walk that far since he’s usually stuck in the yard.

Brian, he gets sent out to our field almost every morning! How is that fair?

So, you want to be stuck in the yard and be put on a leash?

Fine, I guess you’re right. But when Bucko comes in here later I am going to tell him that he is just as lovely as us cows, just to be nice!

Yeah, really nice!
