A city with lights, a place full of dreams
Always a bustle and busy it seems
Not like the country with so many lights
People stay busy from days into nights
I would like to be there just for a day
Or maybe a month or a year I could stay
I just want to see what life there is like
Where I might leave my car and just take my bike
A place that I find everything I might need
A place I can wear jeans, silk, mink, or tweed
The diversity here is something condoned
Where no one is punished where no one is stoned
for being the different one they want to be
even if their life is not life for me
I hope that someday my dreams will come true
Even though its the suburbs from that which I grew.

OMG, totally forgot. We were in Ireland! I didn’t have my phone or any of my contacts. We were warned not to bring any electronics because they are seizing them on the way back into the US. If they take your phone or computer you have to let them on and then they can see anything they want. They keep the phones and computers for weeks. Last think I heard it had happened to over 150,000 people! So anyhow, I couldn’t contact you when we were in Cork. We stayed at the Leonardo Hotel on Anderson Quay. I kept looking around wondering where you lived! I wish I had remembered to keep some contact info with me, but that being said we were kept busy every minute of every day and were exhausted!
