Safe in a space so expansive
Alone but not lonely
Low level clouds linger
Mist covers the facade
Sun will illuminate the space
Sheltered inside
Staying quiet and dry
Morning awakens
Stirring ensues within
Peace found
Silence cherished
Safely sheltered

The photo and the poem made me think of the chicken coop – everyone safe and warm inside and when the sun comes out they emerge happy to see the sun!

That was one thing I loved about having chickens…they tuck themselves in and then wake up so happy!
