- Take inspiration from Mary Oliver’s poem, “Daisies” or a line that speaks to you. Follow your muse.
- Use any of my photos provided above to write about something OTHER than flowers.
it is heaven itself to take what is given,
to see what is plain; what the sun lights up willingly;
– Daisies by Mary Oliver
In life we are offered many things
We have to choose what to take
and what to leave
but do we take only the things we want
or do we accept it all with grace?
Some believe
it is heaven itself to take what is given,
to see what is plain; what the sun lights up willingly
But in our hearts we know
what we want and what we don’t
We must decide how these choices
will affect us
and how
we will
react.
