Along the Sea
As I walk along with the lapping waves
The cool water slaps at my ankles
Leaving a dry film of salt on my skin
As I stare up into the sky full of puffy clouds
The warm breeze caresses my skin
Blowing any feelings of stress away
As I stand tall under the bright sun
The heat warms my skin as
Feelings of health and life envelop my soul

Thanks for the reminder. Last week I couldn’t write anything…it just wasn’t coming to me.

Being touched by the movement of lapping waves and warm breezes, releases something in us and moves us deeply, the flow of your poem was lovely Christine
