Oh wow! I love this! This topic has been weighing on my mind for awhile – since my sister is caring for her MIL with dementia. It is so very hard to do and she is also worrying that her husband might be headed the same direction eventually!

Thank you. You know I saw my dad for Easter and then the following day and he seems to be progressing. I showed him pictures of his family when he was younger and he didn’t recognize his mother. It may have just been the day but as the disease progresses I feel sad for him, for all he had and accomplished and he doesn’t know any of it anymore.
