The alliterative verse has four stressed syllables per line.
The three first syllables alliterate, while the fourth does not.
There is a caesura (pause) between the first two stressed syllables and the last two.
I have perused many sites trying to figure this alliterative verse out. It is tricky and I don’t think I understand it.
If you have any tips or tricks please feel free to leave it in the comments. For now I will continue my studies and see what I can come up with. If I am successful I may send it to Mr. Linky after all.

I couldn’t figure this one out either so I didn’t participate!
