No More Cold

Now that I’m living far down in the south
I no longer need a scarf ‘cross my mouth
I don’t need a shovel or shoes with good grips
I don’t have cold fingers or really chapped lips
But here I did find that heat is the prob
There is no cold water the sun doesn’t rob
the plants that will grow just grow way too big
and a shady, cool rest stop is too hard to rig
But whether its snow or tons of hot sun
Its all about cold, of which that I’m done
I don’t want to feel like my bone’s gonna crack
the cold’s a bad monkey stuck on my back
My body likes sun and the rays that shine down
I like my warm house and my cozy warm town.
