100 Forms of Poetry: #63 Ottava Rima

Day Trip

Taking the time, try to find a good trip

Touring the land near our home by the sea

Places to go to enjoy in one clip

Wondering about all that there can be

Driving around, with my cup, take a sip

Admire each animal, building and tree

Spending my time with the love of my life

Happy to know that I am this man’s wife.
