For today’s prompt, write a remix poem.
Happy Writing
I can think about my favorite things
When I sit down to write
Those small parts which make me happy and bright
I know I need not to rush
Like birds in the yard and the song it sings
Like a man with his horse
Or twinkling stars that shine in the dark night
With a bristly brush
Or the sun and its warmth, giving its light
I am just taking my time
My dog and my family and the fun
To pen the right words
All my chores and my tasks getting all done
Instinctively working my mind
Silly little games I’m happy I won
Like the wings on some birds
beautiful flowers I’m able to find

This is a mash-up of the two following poems I wrote, that I picked at random

An interesting form – I always have trouble meshing poems together!

I literally just picked two and did it and I was lucky that they sort of worked together. I admit I did try to find two poems that “looked” similar so they would mesh well.
