today’s prompt is to write a time poem

My Time

When I was young it went by slow
and as I aged it went too fast
If I choose with way to go
I’d pick that time I like would last.

How would I pick the time I like?
Who is to say I choose just right?
Well let me say its up to me
and I have no time left to fight.
