For today’s prompt, write a luck poem. With it being the 13th, you might be tempted to write a bad luck poem.  But there’s no reason you couldn’t also write a good luck poem. Or write a poem that debates whether luck exists at all.

Luck

Once in a while I sit back to see
if luck is on my side, if its for me
but luck doesn’t happen like it does in a book
its more like a wish or a chance that I took
But who is to say that it doesn’t exist
I might make a start by writing a list
My list will contain the things that I love
Luck will fit fine just tight like a glove
So I keep my head high and smile real wide
And know that its fate that will be my main guide
