The hardest part of this form is that every rule you have ever applied to poetry cannot be done! The main rule of descort poems is that each line needs to be different from every other line in the poem

Us

Each time we speak my eyes open
I remember what brought us so close
A strong connection
Things in common
Realizing there is so much more to life than we ever believed
Understanding that life goes on with or without us
Finding happiness together is work
Keeping things simple is not always simple
No drama
Love
