October Poetry Scavenger Hunt: Pies and Pigs

https://murisopsis.wordpress.com/2023/09/29/looking-for-scavengers/

This was very hard for me, possibly because my mind couldn’t find a connection between a pig and a pie. The poem is not really good but it follows “the rules”.

The apples and peaches get cut
To go in the crust all prepared
The rinds and the pits quickly put
In a pigs’ bucket, they are spared
Mama is kept cooking but scared
Enjoying the pies will be grand
A big slice for each little hand
