October Poetry Scavenger Hunt: Ottava Rima on Stars

Stars up above shine bright in the sky
Keeping the world simply alight
Watching to see one flying by
Hoping the view will make up the night

Blackness of backdrops watch the lights fly
Glitter is thrown and continues its flight
No other beauty exists in the dark
A light set aglow leaves a celestial mark
