Hehe! The mice and rats do compete for food in an urban setting but in the wild they don’t as much… This one has great rhymes! Rats and mice don’t discombobulate me. But when I was in college and visited a friend’s house – well, I showered and when I stepped out there was a very large rat sitting on my towel, and he was not inclined to vacate the area! Fortunately he decided to move when I reached for the towel!!

Was he a pet or a pest? I don’t know what the big difference is except that I heard city rats can get really big!

Its funny because I don’t mind them but the times I have seen either of them in “real life”, wild, they have scared me half to death!
