On Halloween there was a pumpkin
Who fell off of someone’s step
It was smashed up into pieces
No seeds were even kept
The kid’s carving work forgotten
When walking through the night
When goblins, ghosts and witches
did cause a lot of fright.

right?!?! Isn’t that the worst of the whole carving situation?

This had to rhyme, Christine, and you did it so well. Poor pumpkin. It’s my grandson’s first birthday on Halloween, and his big brother loves Halloween pumpkins.

Awh, that poor kid. Hope, the kid wasn’t too sad. A great take on the prompt.

Such a disaster… I guess there was a reason for the name of the band.
