What is a word you feel that too many people use?

Well it isn’t a word, but a phrase:

I appreciate you!

People say this to everyone for everything and most people don’t really appreciate you, they are just saying this because they don’t know what else to say. Now it isn’t enough to say “thanks” or “I appreciate what you did”. I think that someone might appreciate something I do but don’t necessarily appreciate me because without that one action I would have no impact on their life either way. Maybe I am being cynical but it just seems so….cliche maybe.
