The Cows

Udderly nonsense
and cowishly cute
the pair, they were milked
while one played a flute
The milk came in puddles
despite all the heat
and the cud that they chewed
was all they could eat
of course it got spoiled
the milk got too warm
the tails chased away
the flies that would swarm
so day after day
spent standing around
milking their way
without making a sound.

    Utterly fantasto-moo!
    A bovine jazz rendezvous,
    Milk and melody flew,
    Cow concert with a view!

    In puddles, they composed,
    Lyrical notes interposed,
    Heat-waves, the rhythm enclosed,
    Musical milk juxtaposed.

    Tales of tails, flies took a spin,
    Milky symphony within,
    Warm duet, a noble sin,
    Moosic magic, ear to chin!
