This week’s challenge invitation is to explore the world of collective animal nouns.
A flight of swallows
or a flock of geese
could never compare
to these birds of ease
who swim in a raft
or hang in a huddle
Penguins are special
So cute you could cuddle
Tuxedo wearing
Waddle in a colony
Swim in cold water

What fun! I love penguins. I used to watch them every summer at the zoo when I was growing up. Well done!

Penguins are cuter than a bug’s ear. I don’t think they have a mean bone in their pudgy bodies.

Penguins ‘fly’ through the water. I had a children’s book a while ago that actually was just about the names of the different penguins. Cheerful and compainonable. I remember “Happy Feet” 😀
