Dave looked forward to this day every year when the Polar Bear Club would take their annual plunge in the lake.  This year Dave was the only member of the club to show up and he was not going to be denied his pleasure of jumping into the frozen lake.  Dave was equipped with the basic gear for swimming under water having a snorkel, goggles and flippers and this was all about the Endorphin Rush for him.  A quick swim in icy water would give him that runner’s high that he was looking for and if he made it out without freezing to death, he knew he would feel incredible.
