Seasons of Life

When light awakens the start of life
When small lives take a breath
The cold no longer any strife
For spring is now abreast

The heat will rise and things will grow
the sun begins to shine
Creatures roam where waters flow
Afternoon devine

Leaves fall slowly to the ground
to cover up and warm
For something’s coming to be found
impending winter storm

Snow falls slowly coating all
a frozen world resides
The creatures all around will fall
under snowy limbs they hide.
