‘Palm Springs was never like this!’ Tabatha said.
‘Well you said you wanted to get away from it all,’ Brian replied.
‘It’s like an oasis from reality.’
‘That’s a good way of putting it. ‘
‘Are you sure the yacht will be OK? I mean, if the ropes break, we’re stranded.’
‘I can think of worse scenarios. At least we wouldn’t have to worry about interruptions.’
‘The rope ladder was a bit much though. Guess that’s why you were impressed with my rock climbing skills at the gym.’
‘I admit it did cross my mind.’
‘When will the other guests arrive?’
Brian said nothing.
‘There are other guests, right? On the other hand?’
