A place where no-one entered,
No-one interfered,
No-one dared.
As she played,
She was protected
By an unseen force,
A shrouded entity.
Her world was simple,
Her pleasures equally so,
Childish pastimes,
Innocence personified.
Passive in her surroundings,
Anger and disillusion
Absorbed and dispersed,
A mother of sorts
Caring for her child,
Unseen except
From a distance.
