Limerick: The Cow

I am so tired that I don’t know where this came from. I just wrote it, half asleep and now I don’t know if I wrote it for a prompt or something. I kind-of “came to” and the poem was on my computer.

There once was a cow from Earth’s field
When chewing her cud she won’t yield
She ate way to much
Her belly she clutched
So sad that her fate may be sealed.

Stream of Consciousness Saturday

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “starts with or contains ‘cel.’” Find a word that begins with or contains “cel” and use it in your post any way you’d like. Have fun! https://lindaghill.com/2022/11/11/the-friday-reminder-and-prompt-for-socs-nov-12-2022/

It’s funny how when you try to come up with words in your head there seem to be none and then when you allow yourself to use google you find that there are ton words you can use (and you know so many of them!).

cellulite: I have some mobility issues which leads to weight gain and more mobility issues. I really wish they could come up with a secret cream that really worked! Whenever I look better I feel better I have more energy and want to keep busy and active.

cellphone: When my daughter was here last week we got new cellphones. David is happy with his cellphone so he didn’t trade his in.

cellblock: My little brother was in prison so when so when I think cellblock I think of him.
