A Peaceful Feeling: Compilation 06/30/2022

Its a terrific day to bypass the world and languish what’s needing to be
Done are the days of silly cartoons dangling fake lives ‘front of me
I bend to the floor, escaping the lights, from the moon accessible through the blinds
My stonewashed jeans are clean and are dry and nothing weighs on my mind
The opalescence in this worldwide debut is the beauty of an angel’s halo
A zeitgeist of long gone serenity waits while dreams of a utopia grow.

Simply 6 Minutes: 28th June

pensitivity101

Be still my Sister.
Let me hold you to my breast,
Feel my heart beat
As it pulses in time with your light.
Do not be afraid of the darkness,
The night will layer your path
With diamonds and stars,
There is nothing to fear.
Your time may expand and diminish,
But you will never extinguish.
Your light will shine for eternity
And once in a while we shall bond
In an eclipse of serenity.

Simply 6 minutes- Moonlight’s Song

Jezzie G

Inspired by and written for Simply 6 Minutes – thank you, Christine

Well I can’t deny it, and never would, the picture just took my Pagan heart and took me to one of my favourite songs – and of course a moon sonnet for the sacred Mother Moon herself. Blessed be, in love and light )O(

Moonlight’s Song
Form: Acrostic Sonnet

Mother of tides lend me your song
Over the seas echoes of grace
Open my heart and keep me strong
Night-time lady show me your face
Lace my dreams in the ways of light
Invite my soul to go your way
Grant me peace in this world of fight
Hold my heart safe until the day
To trust in your love I am bound
Seeing truth in your lunar glow
Senses burning on silver ground
Oh lady moon I feel your flow
Never-ending rhythm of life
Gentle touch…

If I told him once, I’d told him a thousand times that he’d made a grave mistake when he’d given them independent thought, but being a scientist, no a man, he’d gone ahead and done it anyway.

The words were scrawled in bright blue paint beneath the junction box, but Lacey was too engrossed in her phone to pay attention. She’d asked Siri for directions to the local theatre and ended up here. She should have turned around at the barrier, but the damn phone had been so insistent, she’d slipped through a gap and now she was standing at the top of a building in the middle of…
