Simply 6 Minutes: 19th April

Christine at Stine Writing is our hostess for this particular photo challenge.
This week our picture is from

Nan loved her garden but towards the end of her life, grew anxious about climate change and the effect it had on her plants.
The snowdrops and crocuses were always a beautiful sight, as were her daffodils and tulips, but when there was heavy snow in May, her mind went into overdrive.
‘Snow is acceptable on Christmas cards, mountain tops and ski resorts all year,’ she said,
‘but not here in the summer!’
When we visited a week later, we were greeted with a rather unusual, but somehow charming sight amongst the roses.
Nan had knitted little outfits for her border plants which now stood in regimental rows like small children at a school assembly.
